And after the pumpkin patch...

...it was my birthday! A disclaimer: This post was supposed to be written by my dear husband, but he claimed he didn't know how to do it (he designs websites and writes html code for his company--I think he could have figured out blogger). You can give him a hard time. Anyways, here I am writing my own birthday post almost a month late.

Anyways, it was number 29...one more year of bliss before I join the 30's with all of my other old friends : ) It was a good birthday, and my favorite part was the gift of time hanging out with my sister and sharing an activity we enjoy. Her birthday is at the end of September (mine is the beginning of October), so this year we gave each other a weekend away at a scrapbooking retreat. We went towards the beginning of October and spent the whole weekend at a hotel working on our scrapbooks, chatting, and having time to ourselves (without a lot of little ears and hands around!). It was good time together, and I completed 33 pages in Ellie's book...I'm almost up-to-date! No pictures from that trip as we were working on getting them into the books and not adding to our project!
