Missy and I were roommates during part of my sophomore year at North Park. We ended up as roommates by default because both of our roomies from the previous year decided to spend a semester in Sweden. We decided to live together while they were gone, but we both really thought we would just be co-existing until our real friends came back. Hee hee...little did we know that within just a few days we would become very good friends. Missy was such a good friend to me that year...we spent a lot of time laughing and being goofy, and we also consoled each other during some tough times. Over the last few weeks we have been able to talk a lot, and it has been fun for me to rekindle that friendship. She has two little girls as well and they are pretty close in age to mine...so fun! We have yet to see each other again (I haven't seen her since my wedding...almost 7 years ago!!), but I hope that we will plan a trip soon. Thanks for giving me a call, Missy! I know you are reading this even though you are just a closet-blogger : )
The reunion of friendships is going to continue in a month when our family goes to California for our friend Chris' wedding. He is a good friend from our days at Frontier Ranch summer camp, and we will be able to see several camp friends during that week. There has already been a little reunion via the blogosphere and that has been fun. We are really looking forward to our trip!
