A visit from Chicago...

We enjoyed spending time with my brother, Heath, and my niece, Aidan, this weekend. They were in town for the 15th annual, Father/Son golf tournament that my brother started with some friends. Now, Eric, my dad, and Heath all play in it together. Micaela, my sister-in-law, was unable to make the trip so we missed her.

Aidan and Molly really enjoyed playing together all day Friday at Grandma and Grandpa's house, and then again on Saturday night at the bbq following the golf tournament. Aidan also really liked playing with and entertaining Ellie, although Ellie was in her shy mode most of the time. We are excited to be able to spend some of next weekend with Heath and Aidan as they will be back down to celebrate my dad's retirement!

Also, we have a very busy week coming up...the start of preschool, gymnastics, Molly's birthday, and my dad's big retirement celebration. Last night, Molly spent a couple of hours battling the flu (Eric was such a trooper and was up with her most of that time). Although we are still taking it easy today, she seems to be doing much better (no more pukies!). Please pray that this illness does not make its way through the family...it is never fun to be sick, but this week would especially be a bummer! Thanks!
