Ellie celebrated her third birthday today! She had her "grandma and grandpa day" today, so she celebrated with them during the afternoon. She was very excited to receive a new baby doll from them. She has told us many times that it is very special to her...and that her sister cannot play with it!
We ordered pizza for dinner tonight (at her request), and then ate pink cupcakes. We will celebrate more with her friend birthday party in a couple of weeks. We pushed that party back a bit to allow some of her friends to get over illness and join us. We are hoping that even Holly will be there! (Holly is home, as of tonight, from the hospital...praise God!)
I want to write more about my sweet and silly Ellie girl. I want to give a snapshot of her at the age of three, but tonight it is late and my body and brain are tired. I will write more tomorrow...
