Updates...

Holly: Thank you for all of your prayers! Praise the Lord that Holly is on the mend. She is still in the hospital, but she is improving daily and will probably be able to go home towards the end of the week. I've enjoyed visiting her a few times over the last week, and am always excited to see her improvements with each visit. I took a photo of Molly and Ellie to her, and she is quite proud to show everyone a picture of her friends. I can't wait to see them all playing together soon. Please continue to pray for complete healing and strength and rest for her mom and dad.

Molly: Well, she lost another tooth! She is now missing both bottom front teeth, so I guess she can wish for her two front teeth for Christmas this year : ) While we are on the subject of teeth, she also had her first cavity filled today (I had to work through some "mommy failure" issues with that!). She was very brave and all went well. She still doesn't know there was ever a shot involved, so you don't need to bring that up!

Other than teeth, she is reading like crazy! I am loving the times when I find her snuggled up on the couch reading a book on her own or to her sister (that's my favorite!).

Elliana: Oh, this silly girl continues to crack me up! She is definitely showing more defiance these days, but she still does it in such a sweet or funny way that Eric and I have to work hard to keep a straight face while disciplining her.

She has become convinced that the baby is a boy, but does not want to feel it kick in fear that it might hurt. She still prays often that "mommy's baby will come out".

We are in the midst of planning Ellie's 3rd birthday party, and I can't believe she will be three in a week! The big event for that week will be moving her to her "big girl bed". I would love to keep her in the crib for a while longer, but the crib will be needed here pretty soon!

Eric: He is busy, busy these days. His business is undergoing some transitions and while there are exciting opportunities ahead, there are also a lot of unknowns. This is not my favorite thing, but I'm feeling at peace with the direction that they are headed.

Beyond work, he is keeping busy with several things at church. Even with crazy schedules, we have done better at planning family times and date nights. So needed and good!

Me: Can't believe I'm in my third trimester! The time is flying by...still so much to do! The baby's nursery will get done at some point, but I'm needing to get motivated to make it more of a priority, especially with Christmas approaching.

I'm starting to feel a little more uncomfortable these days. I find myself out of breath and needing rest more and more. But, I'm continuing to walk at the gym and find that I feel best on the days I am able to do this. The baby is very active, and Eric and I enjoy watching the gymnastics in my belly each evening.

Also, I have survived my first couple of weeks without the DVR : ) We gave it up when we switched to a new and cheaper cable option. I have to admit, I'm already watching A LOT less tv and haven't really missed it.

That is all for now...just felt like the blog hasn't been given much attention recently. I thought there might be some out there that would like to know that we are still doing our thing!

Hey Kylene! Glad to get an update! I'm happy the filling went well for Molly today, you'll have to tell me more about that. And I can't believe you are almost 30 weeks! Hugs to you!
