The second part of our trip to southern California was spent with Eric's family. We all gathered in Azusa, CA for Eric's sister's (Meagan) senior art show. It was fun to be with Eric's family including his parents, brother, grandparents, some cousins and an aunt. My favorite part was watching Meagan in her element. She is such a talented artist, and it was very cool for me to see her in the midst of what she is loves.
For her senior art show, she wrote and illustrated a story that Eric's dad told them as children, The Biscuitbaker of Basketville. She did an extraordinary job, and it is a very cool children's book which I hope will be published someday. I can't wait to have a copy for our girls!
