Dance Party

As much as I often like to think of myself as being spontaneous and laid back, I've realized (especially since I've had kids) that I am a very routine person. Many of you are probably laughing, thinking, "You just realized that about yourself!" I know my husband is : ) Anyways, the point of this, is that our family has a routine that is followed most evenings. Eric arrives home by 6:00, and we eat dinner right away. Then, after asking Molly to get back in her chair about 75 times, we finish up and start our dance party. Molly and Ellie both enjoy music and dancing. Molly's favorite CD is one with lots of preschool songs. The first song is called Rocka My Soul which Molly calls, "Rocka Muscles". So, this CD is known as rocka muscles. Most evenings around 6:30, you will find the girls and sometimes Eric and I dancing away to Rocka Muscles. I'm attempting to show you a little video of our dance party. The picture quality isn't great since this was taken with our regular camera (rather than video camera) but you will get the point!

Ever thought about tossing in the ol' FR favorite, World Wide Message Tribe and seeing how they dance to that.

jumpin' in the house, jump UP, jump up, jump in the house, jumping in the house of GOD!

James--We do continue a FR tradition...Molly loves to sing the goodnight prayer every night at bedtime. Although, we don't all sit and sway with our arms around each other : )

Dude, Molly dances EXACTLY the way Eric used to dance. I'd always walk into the guy's side of the staff house, and there would be Eric, listening to Barbie Girl, swaying an spinning just like that!

That's awesome... nice work Moores! We call our similar, occasional dance party "Dance, Dance, Revolution." Good times, good times...
